Getting Started

  1. Click Apply Now and create a Submittable account. If you have an account from DiscoverWorks 2026, you can use it.
  2. Complete the short eligibility form.
  3. If eligible, continue to the full application

Collaborating on Your Application

The first person from your organization to create a Submittable account becomes the application owner. We recommend the application owner be your organization’s main point of contact.

  • Collaborators: To invite collaborators, the application owner clicks Manage Collaborators (top right section of the form), enters collaborators’ email addresses (multiple collaborators can be added), and clicks Invite. Each collaborator will receive an email prompting them to create an account. Collaborators with an account from the previous year can use it.
  • Permissions: Collaborators can edit the application, but only the application owner can submit it.
  • Coordination: Develop a plan with application owners and collaborators before beginning an application. If multiple people make edits to the application at the same time, changes may be overwritten.

Deadlines

The earlier you apply, the sooner you will receive information on a decision. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

  • Apply by December 31, 2026 to receive preliminary funding.
  • Final deadline: January 29, 2027
